Okanagan Custom Homes has deep roots in the Okanagan that allowed Joe Wackerbauer to become involved and interested in Construction at a very early age.
Joe spent his summers and weekends working in the family construction business learning his trade from his father Wilf Wackerbauer who was an accomplished Master Carpenter, Cabinet Maker and his Uncle Pete Wackerbauer who was also a Master Finisher.
In 1986 Joe received his journeyman status and through the last twenty five years has been well schooled in all aspects of construction focused on the Luxury Home market.
As a General Contractor, and a Licensed Residential Builder Joe Wackerbauer and his family believe in giving back to the community and to that end Joe has been a volunteer leader with the Scouts Canada and a long time member of the Canadian Home Builders Association, South Okanagan. Joes wife is a volunteers for Noah`s Wish, a disaster response team for animals.
